New Concrete Driveway in Glendora
A long dirt side yard turned into a rebar-reinforced, broom-finish concrete driveway all the way back to the garage.

This Glendora home had a long stretch of bare dirt running back to a detached garage. The project was to turn it into a real concrete driveway, start to finish.
We started by tearing out the old steps and walkway in the way, then graded the whole run. Next came a compacted base, drainage, and a full grid of steel rebar so the slab holds together when the ground moves.
On pour day the crew placed the concrete, floated and edged it, ran the power trowel, and finished it with a non-slip broom texture. Control joints are cut in so any cracking stays in straight lines where it belongs.
The result is a clean concrete driveway all the way back to the garage. The video below shows the whole project from bare dirt to finish.
